Can I use multiple API credentials for a data connector?
DX allows you to configure multiple API credentials for select Data Cloud connections. Benefits include:
- Rate-limit mitigation — requests are spread across multiple credentials, so individual token limits are hit less frequently (or not at all).
- Increased ingestion throughput — parallel processing means more data can be imported in the same amount of time.
How to configure
- Navigate to the Connections settings page in Administration and open the connection you want to update.
- Click the “Settings” tab.
- Click “Add Credential” in the “API Credentials” section.
- Enter credentials in the modal. See Data Connectors for information about credentials for specific connectors.
