Can I use multiple API credentials for a data connector?

DX allows you to configure multiple API credentials for select Data Cloud connections. Benefits include:

  • Rate-limit mitigation — requests are spread across multiple credentials, so individual token limits are hit less frequently (or not at all).
  • Increased ingestion throughput — parallel processing means more data can be imported in the same amount of time.

How to configure

  1. Navigate to the Connections settings page in Administration and open the connection you want to update.
  2. Click the “Settings” tab.
  3. Click “Add Credential” in the “API Credentials” section.
  4. Enter credentials in the modal. See Data Connectors for information about credentials for specific connectors.
