Playbooks

Playbooks content can be customized to suit your organization’s unique processes and needs. Playbooks content can be customized by workspace admins—changes are viewable by all users in your workspace.

Customizing built-in guides

Step 1 — Navigate to editor

To edit one of DX’s built-in guides, browse to the guide and click on the Customize button at the top. This will take you to a page from which you can make the following customizations:

Step 2 — Make changes

1. Toggle built-in strategies to hide items that don’t align with your guidance.
2. Add additional strategies to recommend improvement tactics to teams.
3. Add additional recommended reading for deep-dive resources.
4. Add additional content sections to the guide.

Creating custom guides

Step 1 — Navigate to editor

Scroll to the bottom of the Playbooks page and click on the Driver that you want to create an article for.

Step 2 — Publish your guide

1. Select a category for where the Driver is displayed on the Playbooks homepage and add a description to display on the guide’s tile in the Playbooks catalog.
2. Fill out the content body using our boilerplate template.
3. Add strategies to recommend improvement tactics to teams.
4. Add recommended reading.
5. When you’re ready, click Publish to display the guide.
6. Once the guide is published, you can make changes anytime by clicking on the Edit content button.
