# Why are deactivated members of my Slack workspace showing in DX?
DX automatically removes users who are deactivated in your Slack workspace. By default, this removal occurs after a 48-hour delay.

This delay helps prevent accidental removals due to temporary signals from Slack’s API—such as those that can occur during Enterprise Grid migrations or syncing issues with your identity provider.

If you would like users marked for deactivation to be removed immediately, please contact DX support to enable this setting.
