# How can I mark users as bots?
DX supports a connection configuration that allows you to explicitly mark which users are bots, which will update downstream data records, including authored PRs and reviews.

#### Steps to Configure

1. Access your [Connections Page](https://docs.getdx.com/https://app.getdx.com/datacloud/connections/)
2. Choose the appropriate connector, and click the three dots to View Details
3. Choose the Actions menu, then "Mark users as bots"
4. Select the appropriate users, then Save.
