# How do snapshot AI overviews work?
DX generates AI overviews for snapshot results that are aimed at helping engineering leaders quickly derive key takeaways from their data.

## Frequently asked questions

#### What data is included in AI overviews?

AI overviews are based on Driver scores and comments. For conciseness, workflows, CSAT items, and allocation results are not included in overviews.

#### Are AI overviews automatically generated?

AI overviews are pregenerated for all teams. For filtered views (e.g., if specific teams or attribute filters are selected), AI overviews are not pregenerated but can be generated by clicking the Generate overview button.

#### How are key pain points determined?

Key pain points are based on the lowest-performing drivers relative to industry 75th-percentile. For leaf teams, pain points are selected based on highest-voted drivers for maximum actionability.

#### How are recommendations generated?

Recommendations are based on free-text comments as well as strategies defined in DX Playbooks. Custom strategies are incorporated as well.

#### How do AI overviews work with snapshot branching?

When snapshot branching is enabled, AI overviews are not available when viewing "All branches" for practicality reasons (i.e., there's too much data to summarize).

#### Why don't I see AI overviews in my account?

AI overviews are only available for customers on DX's latest Driver question set (i.e., the question set which utilizes frequency scale).
